Bisaccioni Palace is located in the heart of the historic center and overlooks one of the most beautiful squares in Jesi, Piazza Colocci.

The building, which stands on a part of the wall of the ancient Roman theater, has been renovated several times, to the point of almost completely hiding the original Renaissance structure dating back to 1527, as the inscription on the frame of a window and the beautiful portal decorated with white stone jambs.

Since 1844, Palazzo Bisaccioni has been the original seat of the Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi. It currently houses the Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi Foundation (Ancona) which was founded in 1992, following the law 218 of 1990, with which it was decided to separate the banking operations of the Savings Banks from social and cultural interventions. in favor of local communities.

The Picture Gallery of the Foundation is made up of Works of Ancient Art, from the 1500s to the 1700s (those by Francesco da Ponte, Guercino, Carlo Cignani and Giorgio Vasari are distinguished), and the Contemporary Art collection, which brings together works by artists especially from Jesi and Marche (among the main ones we mention Orfeo Tamburi, Edmondo Giuliani, De Carolis, Raul Batocco, Ezio Bartocci, Eugenio Azzocchi).

Works from the local area restored by the Foundation are also temporarily exhibited thanks to continuous investments in heritage conservation activities.

Next to the reception rooms and the conference room, the Historical Archive of the Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi are kept, which collects the documentation accumulated over the years of its credit activity, and the Library, where valuable publications (including books art, reprints of ancient codices, maps and reproductions), financed by the Foundations and coming from all over Italy. The itinerary continues in the elegant and functional meeting and conference rooms that the Foundation makes available to the community.

Palazzo Bisaccioni is unique in its kind as inside there is the Caveau, built in the 1950s. It is perfectly preserved and has its elegant and imposing appearance intact, capable of arousing security and fear in those who visit it at the same time. One cannot fail to be fascinated in front of the vaulted room of the Treasury, the safety deposit boxes, the period safes and the secret passages. The collection of coins and banknotes of the Republic is also exhibited, in a path designed for children, teenagers and for anyone who wants to get closer to the economic history of our country by visiting a unique and fascinating place, which has been an active part in this story.
