We are in Massa Marittima, but the name can be misleading. In fact, the sea is close here, but you can't even see it in the distance, because we are immersed in the hills of the Tuscan Maremma. Here the Bracali brothers, Francesco in the kitchen and Luca in the dining room, opened the restaurant of the same name, renovating the old family trattoria: a place where you can taste typical Tuscan dishes, therefore tradition and simplicity.
Luca and Francesco just finished their studies and replaced their parents. They chose to take small steps at a time, trying to increase their skills and professionalism. This slow but careful growth has also affected the restaurant, which has been renovated and updated twice. Francesco is almost a self-taught, who has worked and studied so much to be able to bring the complexity of his ideas to the plate.
Alongside the traditional Tuscan dishes, reinterpreted in a modern key, Francesco slowly introduced recipes resulting from his research and imagination. While Luca took care of the growth of the reception room service, direction, government and the important wine list.
