Casapulla

Casapulla is an Italian town in the province of Caserta in Campania.

Casapulla derives from Casapulus, since in the past it was called Casa Apollonis, or also Casapollo, in reference to the god Apollo, to whom a temple in the area was dedicated. According to some, the name derives from house and from pullus which in Latin can mean: 1) dark, brown 2) clean, from pullus purulus 3) from paululus, new house or small house.
