The irresistible scent of the different herbs and spices inebriates the entrance to the herbalist's shop, a room where the visitor can touch the different raw materials that give life to the Witch Liqueur. In this same room is kept the historic wooden chest of drawers which houses the secret recipe of the product and the ancient processing tools.
The route continues in the ancient distillery where the visitor can walk among the historic swan-neck stills that are still active for production today. The next stage introduces the visitor to the discovery of the suggestive cellar, where the Strega liqueur is aged for at least 6 months in oak vats. Of particular curiosity is the room of imitations, where the over 400 counterfeit bottles found from all over the world are exhibited and have attempted to emulate the famous Witch Liquor.
Of cultural interest is the room dedicated to the famous Strega Prize, where the history of the literary prize is told with a collection of historical images, a space dedicated to the covers of the winning books and the historical blackboard that for over 70 years has been used to decree the winner at Villa Giulia.
