The Lower Castle of Arnad (in French, Château inférieur d'Arnad), also known as Castello Vallaise (Château Vallaise) or Palais de la Costetta, is located in the municipality of Arnad, in the Aosta Valley. Long abandoned or in private hands, it is one of the least studied castles in the Aosta Valley.
It is located in the middle of the hill on which the upper castle of Arnad also stands. The Vallaise castle is surrounded by terraces, perhaps to suggest the ancient presence of a wall, even if due to the total absence of documents prior to the seventeenth century it is not possible today to have certain information.
