In 1932 the company "Weinbedarf AG - Berger, Bujard, Cotinelli" was founded. His parent company was in Lutry (VD). 6 years after the foundation, Albert Reichmuth became its director. Before then, he had worked as sales manager at "Provins" and as head of the "Baur au Lac" wine shop in the wine trade. When Albert Reichmuth bought the company in 1966, he continued to operate under his name. He brought two of his sons, Hans-Peter and Rolf. “When my father managed to take over the winery he had directed since 1938 as director in the mid-1960s, I stopped studying economics at the University of St. Gallen to devote myself to wine in a professional way. My father's supplier became my teacher.
With traditional producers and retailers, I was able to train thoroughly in the production and trade of wine, in the vines, in the cellar, in the office. I have traveled to all the important wine-growing regions of western Europe. ”(Rolf Reichmuth) Albert Reichmuth AG had become a family run business. In 1976 Hans-Peter decided to start a new job as a development worker and subsequently specialize in tea. In 1987 he founded the company "Reichmuth von Reding" and definitively left the wine trade. The specialty and heart of Albert Reichmuth AG was and is France. “I remember many trips to France when I was a kid. I still love the smell that is common in today's cellars. It has something very familiar to me. Furthermore, the choice of my name "Nadine" was born from my father's love for France. "(Nadine Reichmuth) We introduced the subscription in Switzerland (in the meantime we moved away from it) and we organized the first wine auctions in Zurich. Wine has always been the center of interest. Wine should be enjoyed individually, each With his own judgment. With Nadine, the 3rd generation has now joined the company.
