The climate of Brissogne is strongly influenced by its position within the valley. Being at envers, the municipality is characterized by the almost total absence of the sun during the winter months. Consequently this season is cold and generally snowy. Despite this, some days can be particularly mild because of the foehn. Summers are generally hot, but windy. Rainfall, as in the rest of the central valley, is not very abundant and is concentrated in spring and autumn.
The Ernesto Ménabreaz bivouac is located on the shores of Lake Les Laures.
