The mission of the Museum is to acquire, preserve, order and display to the public, for educational and study purposes, the pre-Roman and Roman finds of Este and its territory. The museum also promotes knowledge of the civilization and history of the ancient Veneti. In carrying out its activity, the Atestino National Museum is inspired by the fundamental principles of equality and impartiality, continuity of service, participation, efficiency and effectiveness.

We intend to guarantee equal treatment to all citizens, without distinction of nationality, gender, language, religion or political opinion: the commitment is to remove any inefficiencies and promote initiatives that facilitate access and use for foreign citizens, people with motor, sensory, cognitive disabilities and disadvantaged individuals from a social and cultural point of view. The director and staff of the museum wish to promote continuous information on the activities carried out and take into account the needs and suggestions expressed by users.

The Atestino National Museum presents itself to the public as the result of a virtuous process which, starting from the acquisition and protection, has as its fundamental objective that of the social restitution of the cultural heritage.
