Quirinal Palace

The Quirinal Palace is a historic building in Rome, located on the homonymous hill and overlooking the homonymous square, one of the symbols of the Italian state since it has been the official residence of the King of Italy since 1870 and of the President of the Italian Republic since 1946.

Formerly a royal and papal residence, today a presidential palace and museum, in a square overlooking the city.

The palace is unique in the world because the Latin concept of Auctoritas is associated with it: in fact, no other palace in the world has this chronological thickness.

The interiors are of a unique splendor.
