Acquaviva Coppola Palace

Acquaviva Coppola Palace is a residential building in Naples, located between via del Parco Margherita and via San Pasquale, in the Chiaia district. The building, designed by Augusto Acquaviva Coppola in 1912, Art Nouveau style, combines Neapolitan tendencies with influences derived from the Viennese secession of Otto Wagner.

The building stands on a slope and is served by two roads placed at different altitudes, so the articulation of the building was resolved by dividing the structure into two apparently independent parts.

The external decoration, in via del Parco Margherita, is inspired by classical motifs determined by the axis of symmetry of the facade, while the side of via San Pasquale takes on baroque characters. In via San Pasquale opens the entrance to the Sancarluccio Theater.
