In 1927 Boletto Palace was built on a project by the architect Bacigalupi. The Boletto palace is elegantly placed to close the square towards the sea.
Initially it was small compared to the current shape, in practice coinciding with the western portion only. It was enlarged in 1933 with the addition of the eastern building, again based on a design by Vincenzo Bacigalupi.
