Ca' La Bionda

The Ca 'La Bionda farm is located in the municipality of Marano di Valpolicella, in the heart of the historic area of the classic Valpolicella. The company was founded in 1902 by Pietro Castellani (namesake of the current owner).

The company has 29 hectares of land, in a hilly position planted with vineyards, at an altitude ranging between 150 and 300 meters, with east, south-east exposure. Viticulturists and winemakers for four generations still today as in the past we dedicate ourselves with meticulous care to the cultivation, collection, vinification and marketing of our products, having particular attention to the natural drying phases of the grapes destined for great wines: Recioto and Amarone and subsequent aging in oak barrels.

The new cellar allows us with great functionality to take advantage of the natural slope of the land thus avoiding the use of pump systems usually necessary during the production phases for the handling of grapes and wine; supporting the force of gravity, we work at different levels thus safeguarding product integrity and quality.

The quality and authenticity of our wines is the result of great sacrifices and the great passion shared by all the members of our family and which has been handed down from father to son for almost a century.
