Positano

Positano is an Italian town in the province of Salerno, in Campania, located along the Amalfi Coast. Thanks to the mild climate and the beauty of the landscape, Positano has been a holiday resort since the time of the Roman Empire, as evidenced by the discovery of a villa and further finds dating back to 2004. The many stairways that from the top of the village are typical they come down to the beach.

The main beaches are Spiaggia Grande and Fornillo, both within walking distance; the others are La Porta, Arienzo and San Pietro Laurito, all accessible mainly by sea.

The climate of Positano thanks to its position is very mild, Mediterranean type; winters are very warm with minimum temperatures that almost never drop below 6 degrees, while summers are long, hot and sunny but often cooled by the sea breeze.
