The Castle characterizes the entire southern part of the Olbiese basin, entirely dominated by the building despite the fact that it stands on a rock of only 89 meters.
The interesting ruins include a double fence: the first, very large with a quadrilateral shape, had the function of incorporating within it a vast shelf of the hill; the second has a front of about 1000 square meters, and a posterior one in which the tower and a rectangular building probably used as a dwelling stand.
Its origin dates back between 1296 and 1322, in the period of Pisan-Aragonese domination during the rise of the Visconti family.
