Torre Allegrini Villa

The Allegrini family from Verona boasts a long-standing tradition in the history of Valpolicella viticulture.

The Villa Della Torre Allegrini houses the cellar which dates back to 1560 and was built at the behest of Giulio della Torre, an intellectual and famous humanist of the time.

Critics have advanced the attribution to Giulio Romano, the architect of the Gonzagas. While the octagonal temple is assigned by the sources to the Veronese architect Michele Sanmicheli.

Its conception reveals its originality: it is both a country house and therefore closely linked to industriousness and agricultural activities, but also a place destined for peace of mind.

Upon reservation it is possible to plan the visit, choosing from 4 types that include the tour of the cellar, the tasting of 4 wines, any snacks, light lunch or dinner.

The location is also suitable for organizing weddings and religious celebrations (the Tempietto della Villa is still consecrated), private banquets, corporate meetings and other events.
