Cantina Minardi


Three generations of a family that over time has renewed a common passion, that for their origins and their land.

They carefully and patiently follow all stages starting from the completely natural cultivation of the grapes to, after long care, bottling.



It is a very slow and long process, waiting for nature's timing without claiming to force or mutate it.

The ingredients of the wines are the sun, the wind and the dark soil of this island and on which we have been making wine since 1940, when Leonardo Minardi first, and his son Andrea later began to produce their own Wines.

As taught by Leonardo and Andrea, even today this work is first of all a passion and the main objective is the production of high quality Wines in full respect of the methods of vinification of the Zibibbo (Moscatellone) grape traditionally used on the island of Pantelleria.

 

From the harvesting of the grapes to the bottling of the wines, all the processing takes place on the Island of Pantelleria in the winery in contrada Karuscia; it is in this simple way that we have always guaranteed the typicality and origin of the wines. In the winery located in contrada Karuscia just a few hundred meters from the sea, modern winemaking techniques are used only to best realize the very ancient winemaking processes typical of the Pantelleria tradition. 

The Minardi Winery is the oldest of the wineries operating on the island today, and is among the very few that performs the entire production chain on the island, in the c/da Karuscia winery.
