Benanti is a historic company founded in the late 1800s in Viagrande (CT) on the slopes of Etna by Giuseppe Benanti.
In 1988, his grandson, also called Giuseppe, took over the reins of the old family winery making it one of the most famous companies in Sicily, in the whole of Italy and today among the most popular also abroad.
Among their rows, in addition to Carricante and Nerello Mascalese, it is also possible to find types of Nerello Cappuccio and some plants of Minnella Bianca.
These clusters, thanks to the great dedication of the family, are transformed in the cellar into wines of the highest quality which, from reds to whites, up to sparkling wines, are able to tell the best essence of what is the Catania area.
The wines of Giuseppe Benanti and his sons Antonio and Salvino are endowed with a strong personality, capable of transmitting all the family's culture and passion for wine.
Nerello Mascalese 2014 was selected by Vinoway's Wine Selection 2018.
