Among the granitic rocks of Gallura, one of the most fragrant areas of Sardinia, consisting mainly of Mediterranean scrub with arbutus, myrtle, mastic and juniper, the quality Vermentino from the Capichera winery is born. And Capichera is one of the international references for this white now recognized and appreciated all over the world.
Capichera has been ennobling its whites for years thanks to continuous and constant improvement even on aging materials; and a Capichera wine can age in the bottle even 20/25 years keeping its structure intact.
The first Vermentino labeled Capichera was distributed in 1981, and since then it has moved from the regional market to the national and international market with limited production.
