Casa dei Tre Oci Museum was built in 1913, during a historic period when the Giudecca was the focus of important architectural and town planning changes, such as construction of the new Junghans industrial complexes and the Stucky mills, along with the creation of vast popular and middle class residential estates.
The archives of Tre Oci host a selection of the 10,000 volumes that make up the library Italo Zannier (focused on the history of photography) and photographic collections owned by the Fondazione di Venezia, both in digital as in original form.
Inside Casa dei Tre Oci two rooms are dedicated to De Maria family: original furniture, a selection of paintings, drawings and sculptures offer the visitor a taste of daily family life at Tre Oci.
