Antico Caffè Greco

The Antico Caffè Greco in Rome has over 250 years of history in the name of quality.

Established in 1760 with 4 rooms where you can breathe the history and a collection of over 150 works of art.

Since the day when Nicola, the historic founder of the Caffè, opened its doors for the first time, Caffè Greco has been committed to researching and selecting the best quality in every product offered.

In addition to its historical origin, the coffee is famous for the many famous visitors it has had over the years; it was for a long time, and in part still is, a meeting place for intellectuals and goliards.

Every first Wednesday of the month, the "Group of Romanists", an ancient cenacle of scholars and academics, especially of the city of Rome, meets here.

Since 1940 their works have been collected in the volume Strenna dei Romanisti, published every year on the occasion of the Christmas of Rome (21 April).

The Antico Caffè Greco in Rome, with over 300 works exhibited in the rooms, is the largest private art gallery open to the public in the world.

In a coffee room, the "Sala Rossa", the photo that appears on the cover of the single by Mia Martini Minuetto / Tu sei così, published in 1973, was taken.

Antico Caffè Greco products are still synonymous with excellence and quality and you can find them here: http://caffegreco.shop
