Targa Florio Museum


The Targa Florio is one of the oldest car races in the world. Together with the Mille Miglia, it is the most famous Italian race in the world.

Today the Targa is remembered in the Targa Florio Museum in Collesano (recognized by the Aci), located in the Town Hall.

Relics, photos, trophies, parts of historic cars, driver suits, newspapers, books, rankings and lots of material that retraces the legendary Florio plate are visible and available for consultation. Three other museums have been created by some private individuals, in Cerda (PA), Campofelice di Roccella (PA) and Termini Imerese (PA).


Opening hours:

every weekday and holidays from 9.30 to 12.30 from 15.30 to 19.00

Afternoon closing: Monday and Thursday

It is advisable to arrange the visit in advance by telephone contact.
