The EX-FORNACE is a public space managed by the Culture Sector of the Municipality of Milan, it is located in a central position within the Navigli area. Municipio 6 has decided to use the structure to host cultural initiatives of various kinds (book presentations, small concerts, seminars and public meetings, exhibitions, ...).
At the same time, a working table was opened, open to citizens and local realities, with the aim of better defining the future use of the structure that aspires to become a reference node within the system of cultural spaces of the city and in particular to represent a new model of library for Milan.
The former furnace is located in a suggestive position in Alzaia Naviglio Pavese, 16 within the pedestrian area. It has a total area of ??600 square meters. approximately organized on three floors, the main one of which is the ground floor which, on the mezzanine, communicates with a garden directly overlooking the Naviglio Pavese.
The space opens to the public when initiatives and activities are organized inside.
