Today, artists, youth groups, associations and cultural operators of the X Municipality contribute to the project of public and participated theater of the TDL. the cultural needs of the area. The management model thus developed abolishes the figure of the sole artistic director and sublimates it by diverting his duties to a collegial body: the Artistic Committee, made up of five sector operators elected within the Shareholders' Meeting.
The presence of the Artistic Committee implies, on the one hand, a radical stance on decision-making, since no decision is taken individually; on the other, an extremely broad base of skills, which is strengthened by a plurality that is the meaning and the driving force of the entire experience. Precisely by virtue of this plurality, during the last few months numerous virtuous processes of dialogue with the territory have been activated - the participatory planning tables, already an instrument of the last historical phase of the Lido Theater.
The participatory table is both a symbol and a fundamental tool of the project: an open and inclusive, welcoming assembly, in which the community can actively recognize itself, express itself, build its own idea of ??theater. Through the tables, divided according to the artistic areas (Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Music, Education and Territory), the TDL Association of Associations was able to understand the needs, the proposals, the suggestions coming from all the groups that populate our territory, to then translate them into a program of excellence that respected them, expanding their imagery.
