The Gallery of Engraving opened in Brescia in 1972, and has specialized in the field of Central European graphics between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with a predilection for the Austrian, German and Czechoslovakian areas.
The gallery has in fact proposed artists such as Dix, Grosz, Hubbuch, Klinger, Müller and Schlichter from the earliest years, contributing to the appreciation of authors who were little known in Italy.
In recent years she has also dealt with photography, exhibiting contemporary international authors, such as Martine Franck, Berengo Gardin, Scianna, Sellerio, Erwitt, McCurry.
