Park of the Historical Memory - San Pietro Infine

The old town of San Pietro Infine (Caserta) destroyed during the Second World War, has been transformed into a Park of Historical Memory.

Some ruins have been restored to be used as a Museum-Visitor Center, set up by Carlo Rambaldi, the Church of San Sebastiano immortalized in the film "The Great War" by Monicelli, the Church of San Michele Arcangelo with annexed Former Asylum, intended as a cultural center, exhibitions , etc. and a guesthouse located at the gate of the park.

A private hotel-restaurant is located inside the park and can ensure hospitality. Finally San Pietro is famous for being, during the battles of December 1943 before the destruction of Montecassino, immortalized in the Documentary "The Battle of San Pietro" by the great Director J.Huston. I contributed to the creation of the Parco della Memoria and I participated in Projects and Works Management for some Restorations including the Museum, the Hotel, etc.
