The Contemporary Art Culture Center is also an exhibition gallery that is part of the Albisola Diffused Museum.
This center houses on permanent display one of the most important groups of works by Agenore Fabbri (1911-1998), a Tuscan sculptor who has lived in Albissola since 1932.
The collection is due to the activity of Franco Balestrini, founder of the Center and collector of contemporary art since the 1970s.
Balestrini organized hundreds of exhibitions but established a deep friendship with Fabbri, which is still testified today by the sculpture masterpieces in ceramic, bronze and granite preserved in the gallery.
The activity of the Center stood out for its lively programming, which continues today with exhibitions of historical and living artists, curated by Riccardo Zelato.
