Porretta Terme (Puràtta in the middle mountain dialect of Bologna) is the most populous and the municipal seat of the municipality of Alto Reno Terme, in the metropolitan city of Bologna, in Emilia-Romagna.
It is the administrative headquarters of the Union of the Upper Rhine. It was an autonomous municipality until 31 December 2015, when, together with the municipality of Granaglione, it gave birth to the scattered municipality of Alto Reno Terme.
