The theater was founded in 1969 by Giovanni Poli, who, returning to Venice, draws around himself a nucleus of faithful collaborators for the foundation of his new project: a place to reaffirm the never betrayed commitment for the renewal of scenic modes and, above all, to influence the formation of new generations of actors.
The Theater School in Avogaria becomes a reference point for training and research, strongly linked to the culture and the great theatrical tradition of a territory rich in history but also open to the world and its different languages; becomes the center, in Veneto, for the training of young actors and many of the graduated students have passed on to the profession.
