Khan Shatyr ("Royal Marquee") is a transparent tent located in Astana, Kazakhstan. Built in a neo-futurist style and designed by Foster + Partners, the structure was inaugurated in 2010.
With a height of 150 meters it is considered the highest tent of its kind in the world; it has a 200 meter elliptical base covering an area of 140,000 square meters.
