Established in 2008, the Florence Art and Restoration Fair has solidified its position as the leading trade event in the field of conservation, restoration, and enhancement of the World's artistic Cultural Heritage, both nationally and internationally.

With 17 years of history, this event represents a benchmark for professionals operating in an ever-evolving context, constituting one of the strategic productive assets of Made in Italy.

The Sectors The fair encompasses various areas, including research, training, updates, operations, innovation, techniques, and technologies serving conservation, restoration, and cultural enhancement, with particular attention to the dynamics of cultural and environmental tourism.

Over the years, the fair has attracted over 750 exhibitors, 83 of whom came from countries worldwide. During the three-day event, more than 1150 conferences, round tables, seminars, and meetings have been organized, with 2770 speakers participating and an average of 65 B2B meetings among industry operators.

Herifairs: The European Trade Fair Network The Florence Art and Restoration Fair not only presides over but also permanently coordinates the European Network Herifairs, the European Network of Heritage Fairs.

This is the first and only operational platform for the exchange and development of synergies among the most prestigious fairs in conservation, restoration, and enhancement of cultural heritage in Europe, with open cooperation with other fairs and international events worldwide.

New Developments From the growing digital environment and the development of new technologies, the International Conference Florence Heri-Tech was born, organized since 2018 by the event in collaboration with the University of Florence.

This international conference involves the publication, indexing, and dissemination of proceedings related to research on technologies applied to restoration and cultural heritage, both material and immaterial.
