OTTO like the years until 2000 when the director Giuseppe Lufrano founded the first gallery in Bologna in 1992, in via D'Azeglio 50, which soon became a point of reference for the best names in contemporary art, critics and a audience of enthusiasts.
In 2002 he moved to the spaces of Palazzo Montalto, at 55 again in via D'Azeglio, where he continues to present the work of many protagonists of the contemporary art scene, exhibiting unique and exclusive projects, often with a museum character, specially designed and created for the gallery.
The Otto Gallery is aimed at both private and institutional collecting of Museums and Foundations, alongside the exhibition events with editorial activity, aimed at documenting the event.
