From 1870, following the Napoleonic suppression, the Canons lost the enormous complex, relegated to a small part of it.
Today the four cloisters are occupied by barracks and by the Scientific Police Department of Bologna; passing through one of these beautiful hidden cloisters, you enter the SAN SALVATORE THEATER.
The Company presents shows that span various genres: from classical theater to the thriller genre, dramas and comedies. The schedule also includes the hospitality of professional actors and emerging theater groups.
