A place where we talk about the origins of the brand, the history of Biella textilesand excellence of a territory and its resources that have allowed the great innovations and the emergence of important companies like Fila t all starts in 1906 when the three brothers Fila, from the world of carpentry, make their entrance in partnership in the wool mill Giuseppe Regis and Figli di Coggiola. In 1911 the brothers Regis recede from society and the mill is called Fratelli Fila Spa.

In 1923 was inaugurate in Biella the maglificio Biellese located in viale Cesare Battisti. It coexist next to the Cossato’s spinning mill where at the beginning it produced lingerie  items and later it specialized in wool and wool/blend wovenn.The maglificio also coexist  beside the Coggiola’s weaving mill specialized in wood for man and woman. It was joint sharing in the Milan’s Tescosa  specialized in men’s suits.This group of society was a reality able to develop right inside alle the woven production processes.After calling Maby (Maglificio Biellese Fratelli Fila SPA) in 1973 happened the radical change with the birth of the FILA sport characterized by the red and the blue “F” created by Sergio Privitera.

The FILA’s debut in the sport’s world happened with tennis White Line: the uniforms used for this collection werw of the same woven used for undershirt , but using a careful and clear sales campaign, FILA was able to sell these products as tecnical clothings. In 1987 with Enrico Fraichey’s return within the firm, it starts a new procedure for FILA beacause it includes sport/footwear with the aim to grow in this business.
