Villa Nani Loredan, built at the end of the sixteenth century in Sant 'Urbano, belonged to Bernardo Nani for three quarters in 1666 and for a quarter to Francesco Loredan; a century later it passed entirely to the Loredan family. The building stands at the end of a large meadow, once cultivated, along the abandoned riverbed of the Canale della Rottella, about 1 kilometer from the Adige.
Villa Nani Loredan, a precious example of sixteenth-century architecture, presents both the characteristics of the Venetian villa and of the dominical house. The style of the Venetian villa can be seen on the facade: there is in fact a serliana, a characteristic sixteenth-century window with three openings, of which the central arched one and the two lateral architraves. The entrance portal also bears the motto "Ingenuitate" painted on the architrave, with which in ancient Rome the condition of those who were born free was defined: it is possible that this is a reference to the illustrious origins of the Dwarves, owners of the Villa, origins that tradition dates back to before Christianity or, considering the term as synonymous with "simplicity of mind", "spontaneity", it could be a reference to the sobriety of the Villa and the life that was conducted there.
The decoration of the facade is made up of frescoes, unfortunately illegible today, and ends with a graceful shelf cornice. The elements of the dominicale house are instead visible on the rear facade: absolutely devoid of decorations, it dominates the fields that belonged to the Dwarfs, its owners. The large lawn is now used for summer cultural events.
