The Candiani Cultural Center is a multi-purpose center that organizes and hosts exhibition activities, meetings, cinemas and shows.
It offers an original and varied range of activities, designed to involve and thrill the plurality of the public along the lines of the arts and culture of the contemporary, which constitute the principal and necessary vocation for a young city in continuous, eternal transformation as Mestre ( Venice) and the surrounding area.
The structure was also designed to create an outdoor square full of activities, restaurants and bars. A square connected by a gallery to Piazza ferreto which is the center of the City of Mestre.
One hundred thousand people attend the Candiani Cultural Center each year, immersing themselves in photography, cinema, theater, music research and literature, with particular attention to new languages ​​and current social issues.
The center also contains shops, bookshops, restaurants and bars, open to the public every day. Very popular with young people and is equipped with a convenient and ample underground parking.
The building has been renovated and expanded with a section dedicated to the Cinema that architecturally has a certain charm. At night the new façade is illuminated and changes color attracting the attention of passers-by.
Finally, special attention is given to children, with targeted educational workshops and the development of a very popular Ludolab.
