Toniolo Theater


The Toniolo Theater is an Italian theater located in Mestre (Venice).

The project for the construction of the theater is by the engineer Giorgio Francesconi assisted by the architect Mario Fabbris, while the construction company was the Bonfiglio - Tradati e C. company of Milan.

The theater was originally supposed to be called "Regina Elena" but was eventually named after its owners. The Toniolo Theater was inaugurated on 30 August 1913 with a performance of Rigoletto.
