Ducal square


Ducal Square in Vigevano is one of the most beautiful Renaissance squares in Italy, located in the town of Vigevano (Pavia) in Lombardy.

The square was built in the 15th century by order of Duke Ludovico il Moro and represents a perfect example of Italian Renaissance architecture.

The square is surrounded by buildings of remarkable historical and artistic interest, including the Bramante Tower, the Merchants' Loggia, the Town Hall and the Church of San Pietro Martire.

At the center of the square stands a large fountain representing the city's symbol, the Horse of Leonardo. Piazza Ducale is a place of great charm and beauty, attracting tourists from all over the world.
