Aman Resort - Papadopoli Palace - Virtual Tour 360°

Vista degli interni

Aman Venice, the 7-star Resort frame of the most famous love stories, from George and Amal, to Cindy Crawdford and Rande, is located in one of the most beautiful palaces of the Grand Canal, among bas-reliefs, frescoed ceilings and golden decorations, owned, and inhabited until a few years ago, by the noble Savoia-Arrivabene family who today has reserved for themselves the top floor of the majestic residence.

Aman, in fact, absolutely cannot be defined as a hotel, but as a house with "only" 24 rooms, of which guests are encouraged to experience every corner in total relaxation, from the lounge rooms frescoed by Tiepolo, to the library, up to the roof terrace. with a wonderful view of the city, free to choose where and when (there is no time limit) to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or enjoy a Sunday brunch.

The splendid Palazzo Papadopoli was built in 1550 by the Coccina family of merchants and then sold to the Tiepolo family, one of the most illustrious of the Serenissima (not connected to that of the famous painters), in 1745.

In 1864 it was purchased by the Papadopoli counts who entrusted the architect Michelangelo Guggenheim with a rich renovation of the building according to the Rococo fashion of the time.

At the end of the 19th century the palace was then brought as a dowry by Vera Papadopoli Aldobrandini for her marriage to Giberto Arrivabene and today it is owned by his nephew, Count Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga, who rented it to Amanresorts International.
