De Nobili Palace

Located in the south-east area of ??the historic center, it has been the seat of the Municipality since 1863. The original patrician palace was built in the early nineteenth century by Emanuele De Nobili.

The palace, which became the official seat of the city government, was enlarged and embellished. The elements of greatest value are the Council Room, decorated with frescoes by Tarcisio Bedini which reflect some central moments of the town's history.

The Representation Hall which, embellished with stuccoes and a wooden coffered ceiling in the center of which stands the coat of arms of the city (the work of the Catanzaro painter Guido Parentela), houses a gallery of oil portraits of the mayors, some of which signed by Cefaly, Pileggi and Parentela; the Sala delle Commissioni, with frescoes by master Sandro Russo (1995).
