Sciarra Colonna palace in Carbognano it is a Roman palace, which overlooks Via del Corso in Roma.

The current palace was built towards the end of the 16th century. for the Sciarra Colonna family, princes of Carbognano, based on a project by Flaminio Ponzio (1560-1613) where the home of Sciarra della Colonna was once located.

At number 239 the facade has a high portal.

This portal is famous for being cited as the Carboniani portal among the four wonders of Rome as it was believed to be a single monolithic piece of carved marble.

The building is now the seat of the Rome Foundation.

In it there is a marvel of Italian Liberty, the Sciarra Gallery.
