Villa Calciati

Its splendid frescoed rooms envelop and involve guests in that sublime atmosphere that only a few mansions still manage to emanate.
Discreet almost familiar charm, atmosphere of a bygone era, which permeates every room so as to make you an accomplice in who knows what pleasures.
Villa Calciati: the perfect location for any type of reception.

The Villa was built between the end of the 1600s and the beginning of the 18th century. To the north-east of the complex, in 1709, a small church was built by the nobleman Gerolamo Gerenzani, open to public worship by decree of the Curia dated 22-IX-1709 and mass is still officiated here, once a month, by the parish priest of Dosimo .

The elegant facade stands out at first glance, even before having crossed the ancient wrought iron gate that opens onto the courtyard and gardens in front of the villa.

The entrance door opens onto the main hall completely frescoed at the end of the 18th century and its imposing volumes.

Just look up to discover another detail that makes the hall of the Villa unique: a splendid wooden loggia runs along the entire perimeter of the room, allowing you to enjoy a privileged point of view over the entire structure.
In fact, from there it is worth looking downwards, to be able to grasp the harmony of the original terracotta floors of the time.
