Astronomical Observatory of the Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta and Planetarium


The Astronomical Observatory of the Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta is a structure, completed in mid-2003, particular of its kind due to the characteristics and variety of the instrumentation available in it, allows to carry out high-level scientific research, didactic activities for teachers and students of all levels and high quality astronomical information.


The Observatory, which also includes a meteorological station, is accompanied by a heliophysics laboratory, an educational path consisting of two exhibitions and a "Path of the Planets": a series of illustrative panels on the Solar System.

In 2008, the structure was also joined by a planetarium.
