Archaeological Area of the Imperial Forums - Virtual Tour 360°


The Archaeological Area of ??the Imperial Forums extends into the heart of Rome, along the street of the same name, between Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum and borders the Roman Forum complex.


The archaeological area can be visited according to the following access methods:
- booking exclusively through the Zètema service 060608;
- all days of the week visits are reserved for organized groups;
- the visit lasts one hour;
- the entrance ticket to the area is € 4 for the whole and € 3 for the reduced, to be paid directly on the spot (free for certain categories of visitors is understood);
- the maximum number of people allowed per group is 30.


The Imperial Forums are also part of the "Archeology in the Municipality" project of the Capitoline Superintendency which has arranged free guided tours for individual citizens.
The visits, which can be booked at 060608 by the officials of the Imperial Fora Office, will be carried out in a single shift at 11.30 on Wednesdays.
The cost of access to the area is € 4 for the whole and € 3 for the reduced (to be paid directly on site) for a maximum number of 20 people. Free admission for certain categories of visitors is understood.

The entrance to the archaeological area is located in Piazza Santa Maria di Loreto, near the Trajan's Column.
The route of the visit, following the walkway present on the site, will touch a part of the Forum of Trajan, will pass under Via dei Fori Imperiali along the cellars of the ancient houses of the Alessandrino district, will cross the Forum of Caesar and will end near the Forum of Nerva, from where you will exit onto Via dei Fori Imperiali.

First Sunday of the month free opening; access allowed from 8.30 am to 7.15 pm, with the last admission at 6.15 pm
