The Vecchiato Arte Gallery

The Galleria Vecchiato Arte was born from an idea of Dante Vecchiato in Padua in 1986, among the artists exhibited at the inaugural exhibition of the Gallery there were some of the greatest exponents of Italian art of the twentieth century, among which the names of: Mario Sironi, Massimo Campigli, Afro, Alberto Burri, Emilio Vedova and Lucio Fontana to whom an important personal exhibition was then dedicated in 1987.

Dante Vecchiato's research and passion initially focused on historicized artists, such as Cèsar, Arman, Christo and Daniel Spoerri and on the Informal, giving space to personal exhibitions such as that of Tancredi, Santomaso, Afro and Emilio Vedova.

In 1991, the personal exhibition dedicated to Andy Warhol was undoubtedly memorable, then revived with great success also in 2006.

Today more and more space is given to research, experimentation with new languages and new emerging artists, who express themselves in new ways, such as through Street Art.
