Villa Rey - ASI - Italian Historical Automotoclub

Villa Rey is located among the "vineyards" (hillside residences generally built within a vineyard area) and more notable than the so-called Montagna di Torino, that is the hilly area beyond the Po, it belonged to the Turinetti of Priero, to the Carron and then to the Rey, hence the current name. Part of the building and the villa are the work of the architect Mario Ludovico Quarini (1736-1800).

The Villa Rey is the headquarters of the A.S.I., Automotoclub Storico Italiano, established in 1966 and recognized as a moral body under private law by decree of the President of the Republic n.977 of 24 October 1980, it is a Federation made up of 281 federated clubs and 46 member clubs , which brings together about 202,000 fans of historic vehicles and institutionally represents Italian historic motoring at all competent national and international bodies.

Non-commercial and non-profit associations, with purposes similar to those of the ASI, and the Brand and Model Registers are members of the Federal Body.

Vehicles registered with ASI benefit from tax benefits and facilitations for circulation, which the Legislator has recognized for the historical and cultural value they represent. Many insurance companies (including Per Te with which ASI has an exclusive agreement) also reserve subsidized policies for vehicles that have certificates issued by the body.

Today, the vehicles certified by ASI, in possession of the identity certificate are over 45,000, with an annual increase of about 3,000 (divided into cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, military and agricultural machinery).

The quality of certified vehicles is very high, because the Technical Regulations of the Federal Body, based on this certification, are applied in a very rigorous way: the authenticity and originality of the vehicles become essential elements for obtaining the Certificate of identity. that ASI issues as historical kit of vehicles examined by its Technical Commission.
